Anthem LemonAid FAQ's
-
- 1. After I register to set up a stand, what comes in my Anthem LemonAid kit?
Lucky you, your kit comes with lemonade mix, cups, a pitcher and promotional signage. All you need is a location, water and ice. All lemonade is sold for a $1 donation.
-
- 2. When and where can I pick up my Anthem LemonAid kit?
- After you register you will receive an email confirmation giving you details about Anthem LemonAid. Kits will be available for pick up Wednesday, July 7, from 4 to 6pm at the CHKD Oyster Point Health and Surgery Center in Newport News, Thursday, July 8, from 4-6pm at the CHKD Oakbrooke Facillity in Chesapeake (500 Discovery Drive, Chesapeake, VA), Saturday, July 10, from 9am to 12pm in the lobby at CHKD in Norfolk and Tuesday, July 13 from 4 to 6:00 pm at the CHKD Princess Anne Health and Surgery Center in Virginia Beach. -
- 3. When should I set up my Anthem LemonAid stand?
- So many choices! Anthem LemonAid weekend is July 16th, 17th and 18th. If you are a business or an office, we recommend Friday, July 16th. For families and community groups Saturday and Sunday have worked well in the past. The choice is up to you!
-
- 4. Do you have any suggestions as to where I should set up my stand?
- As is the case with any real estate, there are three things to consider when setting up you stand: Location, Location, Location. Think of areas that are high in pedestrian traffic such as a lunch spot on a Friday afternoon or one of the many Farm Fresh stores or Panera Cafes available to sign up for. If you frequent a community swimming pool or Little League ball field these are all great locations. In many cases with a little pre-promotion on your part, right in your own front yard can be an excellent spot.
-
- 5. Who do I coordinate with to set up my location?
- If you choose to set up your stand in front of a business, CHKD requires that you receive permission from the owner or manager of that business before you register your stand. CHKD has already secured the store fronts of our local Farm Fresh locations, Panera Bread Cafes, as well as a few other places such as Sam’s Club, and Kangaroo Jac’s. If you are interested in one of these spots please defer to our website for available openings. You can find the available store fronts within the Sign Up Form.
