The Children’s Miracle Network Richmond Advisory Committee, known as the Miracle Makers, supports Children’s Miracle Network Richmond’s mission to raise the level of pediatric health care in central Virginia by supporting Children’s Hospital and VCU Children’s Medical Center. This volunteer committee consists of a variety of professionals and members of the community who focus on raising both funds for and the awareness of Children’s Miracle Network Richmond through special events.
This special and dedicated group was established in 2000 and has continued to grow in membership and special projects. This May, they will host the 8th Annual Cheers! For Children event at Plant Zero and in the fall plan to organize their 1st Annual golf tournament. Other projects have included hosting an Anthem LemonAid stand, producing and selling a local artist holiday cd- A Time for Miracles, Vol. 1-2, organizing the former Children’s Miracle Network Jazz Series and participating in the Torch Relay.

Qdoba FUNdraiser for CMNR on April 29!
On Thursday, April 29th, the Qdoba located at Willow Lawn Shopping Center (4925 W. Broad Street) is holding a fundraiser to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Richmond! Here’s how it works:
- Download and print the flyer by clicking here
- Bring the flyer to the Willow Lawn Qdoba between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29
- Purchase an entree and a drink and Qdoba will donate $1.50 to Children’s Miracle Network Richmond (or $0.50 per kid’s meal)
- Be sure to bring the flyer or you meal purchase will not benefit CMNR!
This fundraiser is not valid with any other offer. No solicitation in the restaurant.
Save-the-Date: Cheers! For Children
The Miracle Makers will host their Eighth Annual Cheers! For Children Event at Plant Zero on May 14th.
This year’s event is featuring a Miracle Masquerade theme to dress up and conceal your identity for one magical night filled with music, dancing and mystery. Enjoy delicious food and a silent auction that offers everything from electronics to fantastic vacation getaways. Cocktail attire and masks are encouraged, however there will be masks available for purchase at the door.
