Anthem LemonAid FAQ
- 1. After I register to set up a stand, what comes in my Anthem LemonAid kit?
- Lucky you, your kit comes with lemonade mix, cups, a pitcher and promotional signage. All you need is a location, water and ice. All lemonade is sold for a $1 donation.
- 2. When and where can I pick up my Anthem LemonAid kit?
- After you register you will receive an email confirmation giving you details about Anthem LemonAid. All kits are scheduled to be picked up Friday, July 11th, from 11 to 2pm, Saturday, July 12, from 10am to 1 pm and Monday, July 14, from 4pm to 6:30pm at Anthem Headquarters on the corner of Staples Mill and Broad. Please be sure to pass along your confirmation number (provided in the confirmation email) and the last name of the individual who registered the stand(s).
- 3. When should I set up my Anthem LemonAid stand?
- So many choices! Children's Miracle Network-Richmond has designated July 18th, 19th and 20th as Anthem LemonAid weekend. If you are a business or an office, we recommend Friday, July 18. For families and community groups Saturday and Sunday have worked well in the past. The choice is up to you.
- 4. Do you have any suggestions as to where I should set up my stand?
- As is the case with any real estate, there are three things to consider when setting up you stand: Location, Location, Location. Think of areas that are high in pedestrian traffic such as a lunch spot on a Friday afternoon or our retail sponsor Ukrop's, which is an ideal Saturday location or consider your local Wal-Mart store. If you frequent a community swimming pool or Little League ball field these are all great locations. In many cases with a little pre-promotion on your part, right in your own front yard can be an excellent spot.
- 5. Who do I coordinate with to set up my location?
- If you choose to set up your stand in front of a business, Children's Miracle Network-Richmond requires that you receive permission from the owner or manager of that business before you register your stand. Children's Miracle Network-Richmond has already secured the store fronts of our local Ukrop's, Wal-Mart and Sam's Club locations. If you are interested in one of these spots please defer to our website for available openings. You can find the available store fronts within the Sign Up Form.
- 6. After we set up our stand, where do we turn in our money?
- You have two choices. Join us at Children's Hospital on Brook Road, July 20th from 4 to 6 pm for a thank you celebration. All Anthem LemonAid participants are invited to celebrate their success with Radio Disney's fun squad and RD Frequency presented by Provident Bank.
Or, simply enclose one check or money order for the amount raised in the envelope provided in your Anthem LemonAid kit. Then mail to: Children's Miracle Network-Richmond 2924 Brook Rd Richmond, VA 23220. - 7. What is the Provident Bank Celebration?
- All Anthem LemonAid participants are invited to join us for a thank you celebration presented by Provident Bank.

Join Children's Miracle Network-Richmond and Provident Bank as we celebrate Anthem LemonAid's HUGE success. Celebrate with us and Radio Disney on the front lawn of Children's Hospital as we collect contributions from lemonade stands all over central Virginia. - 8. I want to set up an Online LemonAid Stand. How does this work?
- *NEW this year! In addition to setting up a LemonAid stand on July 18th, 19th or 20th, you can now set up a stand ONLINE too! All you need is your computer and a few family and friends’ email addresses, and you’ve got an Online LemonAid Stand!
By clicking on the link on the Anthem LemonAid Homepage you can follow the steps to register an Online LemonAid Stand. Our easy step-by-step process will walk you through regsitration and provide a personal website link. You may then email your personal like to family and friends encouraging a donation to help "put the squeeze” on pediatric cancer.
