We have a few things to help prepare YOU for the holidays!

Keep the Change For Kids: If you are shopping in your area Walmart make sure you ask your cashier during check out time if you can help “Keep the Change For Kids” and round up your total to the nearest dollar. Just a few pennies add up to make “change” in a child’s life.

Let Children’s Miracle Network Richmond wrap your holiday presents: This holiday season, bring your gifts to Regency Square Mall for the 10th annual volunteer gift wrap booth. Items can be purchased from any mall or store and wrapped for price ranges between $4.00-8.00, based on the size of your gift. The booth is located at the South entrance of Macy’s (in front of the women’s department). Come Monday through Saturday between the hours of 2pm-8pm or Sunday from 2pm-6pm, and choose from our large selection of festive holiday paper! The proceeds benefit Children’s Miracle Network Richmond.

Shopping for Holiday Miracles: Not a holiday mall shopper? We’ve got the answer-online shopping conveniently accomplished from the comfort of your own sofa! Shop any of your favorite online sites and give back to the children of central Virginia. Simply, go to www.shoppingformiracles.org and select the merchant from which you wish to shop, i.e. Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Walmart, Starbucks, GAP, Kohl’s, Old Navy and MORE. Then enter your ZIP code in the pop-up window. This will ensure that a percentage of your purchase is donated to your local children’s hospital. In our case, it’s VCU Children’s Medical Center and Children’s Hospital. The retailer’s website will open in a new window and you’re then ready to shop for miracles!

Children’s Miracle Network Richmond, in partnership with INK & PAPER, is selling holiday cards for 2008. Choose from a variety pack that includes one of each unique card or buy a box of 8 of the same print. A portion of each purchase benefits Children’s Miracle Network Richmond this holiday season!
