Just One Glass of LemonAid at a Time

The 6th Annual Anthem LemonAid fund raising goal proved to be an effortless challenge for Richmond area community members. With participation and support from families and local businesses all over central Virginia more than $108,000 was raised through lemonade sales. This “kids helping kids” fundraiser was designed to engage families and children of all ages through imagination and creativity while providing a “refreshing” opportunity to give back to the community. From July 13-15, children decorated the streets of Richmond with lemonade stands; many adorned the “lemon-head” hats provided in their complimentary supply kits. The 2007 The Most Festive Stand winner was Midlothian’s own Xavier Foy, 10.
