Miracle Treat Day August 5th, 2010 Children's Miracle Network Richmond is predicting Blizzards in their summer forecast. On Thursday, August 5th 2010 beat the heat with your favorite sweet treat by going to your local Dairy Queen for Miracle Treat Day. Buy a Blizzard Treat from a participating Dairy Queen and a portion of your purchase will be donated back to Children's Miracle Network Richmond hospitals. Oldies but Goodies Classic Cruizers Car Club Presents: Christmas in Semptember September 18, 2010 On Saturday, September 18 join the Oldies but Goodies Classic Cruizers Car Club for their annual Christmas in September car, truck and bike show in the Children’s Hospital of Richmond parking lot (2924 Brook Road Richmond, VA 23220). Registration will begin at 9:00am and lead into a day of eclectic cars, live music, auctions and special guests including Santa Claus. Go “Casual for Kids” on the 2nd Annual Miracle Jeans Day September 15, 2010 Miracle Jeans Day is a fun, easy way for your company or organization to make miracles happen for kids at Children's Miracle Network hospitals near you. Individuals or employees can make a minimum $5.00 donation in exchange for the ability to wear their favorite pair of blue jeans Wednesday, September 15, 2010. In its first year of participation, Children's Miracle Network Richmond raised over $2,500 for its member hospitals; VCU Children's Medical Center and Children's Hospital. Food Lion Golf Championship 2010 October 8, 2010 The Food Lion Golf Tournament to support Children’s’ Miracle Network will be held on Friday, October 8th at the Royal New Kent Golf Course located at 10100 Kentland Trail Providence Forge, VA 23140. Ace Hardware's 1st Annual Charity Golf Outing October 1, 2010 On Friday, October 1st Ace Hardware’s Prince George Retail Support Center will host their 1st Annual Charity Golf Outing. Tee off with a 1:00pm shotgun start at the Brookwoods Golf Club located at 7325 Club Drive in Quinton, VA 23141. Registration includes green fees, cart, welcome gifts and dinner. Southside Chapter of Virginia Credit Unions 4th Annual Golf Tournament September 10th, 2010 On Friday, September 10 the Southside Chapter of Virginia Credit Unions will host their 4th Annual Golf Tournament, benefiting Children's Miracle Network Richmond. The Captain’s Choice event will be held at the Cardinal Golf Course in Fort Lee, Virginia. Registration and sign-in will begin at 10:30am, followed by a shotgun start at 12:30pm. Computer Science Corporation 2010 Fall Classic Golf Tournament September 17, 2010 Children's Miracle Network Richmond is inviting you to grab your clubs on Friday, September 17th, 2010 and tee off for the CSC Fall Classic Golf Tournament hosted by the CSC Chester Office. The event will be held at the Cardinal Golf Course in Fort Lee, Virginia and all proceeds raised from the event will benefit Children's Miracle Network Richmond. Torch Relay 2010 October 2010 Walking Miles for Miracles to benefit Children's Miracle Network hospitals: The Torch Relay for Children's Miracle Network Richmond is a unique 33 day event where participants walk, run and/or cycle through out the country to raise money for their local children's hospital. Each city's leg of the Tour is supported by a dedicated team of trained volunteers who lead the group as they walk, run or ride through the city. This October will mark the third year Richmond will host the tour to raise funds for VCU Children's Medical Center and Children's Hospital. Walking Miles for Miracles to benefit Children's Miracle Network hospitals:
