Quest for the Triple CrownFriday, May 16 And they're off...Join Children’s Miracle Network-Richmond as we celebrate The Quest for the Triple Crown at our Annual Spring Reception. The evening will be filled with live music, traditional Derby samplings, a silent auction and a competitive race for the Triple Crown. The celebration will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel located on Franklin Street. We encourage traditional Derby attire, so pull out that seersucker suit and large hat and join us at the races!

2nd Annual Tour de LionsSaturday, May 17 Grab your bike and helmet, and let's ride! On Saturday, May 17th, Food Lion Atlantic Region, will host their 2nd Annual Tour de Lions cycling event. Cyclists of all skill levels will tour the back roads of Hanover County with the choice of a 25 mile or 50 mile ride. A registration fee of $35 is required per cyclist. A mass start will begin at the Atlee Road Food Lion located at 9541 Kings Charter Dr. Ashland Va. at 8:00 a.m. Invite your friends and family to support you in this fun, charity ride! For any cyclist registered to participate in the MS ride on May 31-June 1, a reduced registration fee of $20 will be offered to participate in the Tour de Lions.
